Umberto
Boccioni nasce a Reggio Calabria il 19 ottobre del 1882, sotto
il segno della Bilancia con Ascendente nei Pesci; una combinazione
di per sé molto dinamica, estremamente sensibile e al tempo
stesso molto vivace, capace di un notevole trasporto e passione nelle
cose che più premono. La Luna in Capricorno, posta fra l'altro
nell'undicesima casa, è l'elemento stabilizzatore, il filtro
razionale che permette alla forte intensità del sentimento
di trovare un tipo di espressione quasi programmatica.
Dal suo tema non possiamo parlare di lui come un anticipatore, come
un avanguardista puro, piuttosto di una persona che, alla ricerca
di stimoli continui, finisce per trovare nel futurismo temi e motivi
che riescono a soddisfarlo. Non si può certo affermare che
sia una personalità affascinata completamente dalla tecnologia,
certo è che la sua indole trova nella forza degli stessi personaggi
che frequenta quella forza e quell'empatia che, da un punto di vista
umano, va cercando.
Nel suo tema si possono cogliere sfumature impercettibili che danno
alla sua personalità caratteristiche veramente uniche; innanzitutto
lo stato di isolamento in cui ritroviamo il Sole, lo stesso si può
affermare di Venere, appena velata da una quanto mai leggera opposizione
di Plutone. La presenza della stella in Bilancia e in ottava casa
è fonte di un notevole talento artistico, indagatore e critico,
che tende a mantenere una certa serenità di espressione e di
concetto. Venere nel Sagittario riesce a dare quella visione ulteriore,
che non si ferma alla pura contemplazione della bellezza e della forma
bilancina, ma spinge semplicemente all'esplorazione, alla scoperta
fine a sé stessa, alla gioia dell'arte come risultato di un
gioco.
Ciò
che caratterizza maggiormente le opere di Boccioni sono il risultato
dell'azione degli aspetti della Luna, di Marte e Mercurio e di Giove;
la larga opposizione di Giove e Luna caricano la sfera emotiva dell'artista
di dubbi e interrogativi, di progetti, di forte sicurezza interiore
e di una possibilità di scandagliare l'universo del sentire,
che con la partecipazione dell'ascendente nei Pesci lo rendono spettatore
nelle sue tele e nella vita delle vicende del suo tempo.
Marte e Mercurio nello Scorpione gli danno quell'intelligenza critica
e quell'incisività tale da non lasciarlo totalmente alla mercè
di una mera visione accorta e preoccupata della realtà stessa;
sono in un certo senso il motore che trasforma il turbinio interiore
in visioni reali.
Dalla ritrattistica intimista delle figure umane e femminili, alle
rappresentazioni del movimento. Dai paesaggi proto-metropolitani di
una nazione arretrata alla visione del tutto in una realtà
simbolica. Visioni simultanee, 1911 è Boccioni stesso, curioso
e felice di vedere e rappresentare quello che accade intorno a lui.
Il
forte attaccamento al territorio, alla strada, viene suggerito dall'opposizione
di Marte con Nettuno nel segno del Toro, tra ottava e seconda casa;
non ultimo esprime quel tocco di classe che si incastra perfettamente
nel resto degli aspetti planetari del suo tema. La plasticità
delle sue opere pittoriche e scultoree pone le sue basi nel trigono
di Saturno con Urano, tra Toro e Vergine, un aspetto duro, un bastione
solido e concreto, tra Antigrazioso, 1913 e Forme uniche della continuità
nello spazio, 1913.

Boccioni is born in Reggio Calabria on october 19th 1882, under the
sign of Libra with an Ascendant in Pisces; a very dynamic combination,
extremely sensitive and very lively at the same time, able of a considerable
transport and passion in things of more interest.The Moon in Capricorn,
besides placed in the eleventh house, is the stabilizing element,
the rational filter which permit strong intensity of feeling to find
an almost programmatic kind of espression.
From his birth chart we can not speak of him as a forerunner, as a
pure avant-gardiste, rather as a person who, looking for continous
incentives, ends to find in Futurism themes and motives able to satisfy
him. Surely we can not adfirm he is a personality completely fascinated
by technology, certainly his attitude find in people he frequents
that force and empathy which, humanly, he is looking for.
In his chart it can be seized slight shades that give to his personality
very unique features; first of all the isolation state where the Sun
stands, the same can be affirmed of Venus, just veiled by a so light
opposition of Pluto. The presence of the star in Libra and in the
eighth house is source of a considerable artistic talent, investigating
and critical, which tends to maintain a kind of serenity of expression
and concept. Venus in the Sagittarius gives that further vision, which
does not stop in front of a pure libran contemplation of beauty and
form, but simply pushes to exploration, to discovery, to the joy of
art as a game's result.
What mostly disitnguishes Boccioni's works is the result of the action
of aspects of Moon, Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter; big opposition of
Jupiter and Moon charges the artist's emotive sphere of doubts and
questions, projects, strong inner confidence and the possibility to
sound feelings' universe, which, with the participation of the Ascendant
in Pisces, gets him spectator at his period's vicissitudes in his
paintings and life.
Mars and Mercury in Scorpio give him that critic cleverness and that
incisiveness which will never totally leave him at the mercy of a
mere cautious and worried vision of reality; someway they are the
